Separation Saturday, For the Big 12 it was!!

Congratulations Big 12, you showed what you're made of on Saturday. Here's the rundown.
OREGON 34, Oklahoma 33
USC 28, Nebraska 10
IOWA 27, Iowa St. 17
TCU 12, Texas Tech 3
All four ranked Big 12 teams that had a chance to beat a ranked team --- lost. (admittedly all 4 were on the road and OU got totally 100% screwed by the officials on the onside kick. And don't give me that B.S. excuse that the replays were inconclusive - how 'bout the fact that OU recovered!!! Oregon never freakin' had the ball. What did the Pac-10 referees see live or on the replay that suggested Oregon had the ball!!!! - Pathetic)

*Now for the really bad news, if not for Bobby Ross' ridiculous play call on third and goal from the 2 with no timeouts and 9 ticks on the clock, then the Aggies would've lost to Army. That's right, Army! Memo to former NFL head coach - the clock will run out when your slow fullback who averaged less than 2 yards per carry gets tackled for a 4-yard loss.
Coach Fran should not get a pass for this one. Give me a break. 4 touchdown favorites and yet his team got run through and scored on all night long. Oh yeah and he went for it on 4th and 1 from his own 31 with 3 minutes remaining. Humongous Jorvorksi Lane got crushed for a 4-yard loss. Huge surprise, right?? His last carries were for 4, -1, 4, 5, 2, & 2 yards. Yeah - shocking, he's a real yardage machine.

* In addition to the 2 Pac-10 losses already mentioned, Baylor lost to Wash. St. 17-15 and Colorado dropped to 0-3 after getting smacked by Arizona St., 21-3. That's a perfect 0-4 against the so-called softies from the west. Just for good measure Kansas lost to Toledo - very impressive.
