No Holiday Here

You'll hear me at the regular time, 6-10 pm on the NightShift on this Martin Luther King Day.
4 teams remain in the NFL's race to Miami, the Rockets are walking on the sun and today is the deadline for early entry into the NFL draft.
Here's some of what on tap in our....
Surf's Up - Your Daily Link Dump
- This is Tulsa, right? First Todd Graham makes a lateral move from one C-USA school to another (Rice to Tulsa), now he's getting the offensive coordinator at SEC contender Arkansas to take the same job at Tulsa?????
- Here's the latest list on underclassmen who are early entries into the NFL draft. Note as of early Monday morning, Adrian Peterson has yet to make his intentions known. Colt Brennan set to announce his decision sometime this morning. [Update:They are both in the draft]. QB Brian Brohm stays at Louisville, DT Glenn Dorsey stays at LSU and Ted Ginn, Jr's TD return to open the National Title game will be his last for the Buckeyes, he's going pro. (BTW, wanna see his injury in the celebration following that TD, Pic 1, Pic 2)
- If you were watching the Saints-Eagles game on Saturday night, hopefully you covered the kids' eyes. Otherwise they would have seen this televised by FOX. (Warning NSFW language-ha)
- Maybe you missed this, but The Wizard of Odds put together a great look back at the 2006 Classless Acts of the College Football season (w/videos).
- Losing half of your mutli-million dollar worth might make you do odd things, too. NYG DE Michael Strahan found out last week, he had to fork over $15 million to his ex-wife due to a pre-nup. Yesterday police were called to the scene as according the NY Post headline Giant Goes Nuts, Strahan Ballistic. You decide.
- Baseball - Dontrelle gets $6.45 million to avoid arbitration. Smaller item, Mike Lamb gets $2.7 million.
- Off the sporting landscape, Paula Abdul had a very interesting TV interview the other day. Drugs? Alcohol? Both? Tough call. Spin control at full force from her PR team. Here's the video.

--- as always more coming throughout the day
