Babe Bracket Round 2-Eva Mendes Bracket

We made quick work of the first round matchups in the 3rd annual NightShift Field of 69...minus 1. Of course that was only after we cut the field down by 4 via the quarter of play-in games. The new Lois Lane crushed the old Lois Lane, the international play-in game was won by Aishwarya Rai, Rihanna was an easy winner over the ultra-skanky Lindsay Lohan and we favored Tequila over Candi.

Not surprisingly none of those four winners would win again in the first round, and none of the top seeds were upset. However, among the more interesting shockers were the trio of #11 seeds that knocked off the #6 seeds. Halle Berry, Simpson and Cassie are all done and so is Vida Guerra whose enormous ass-ets weren't enough to top Keira Knightley's boyish good looks.

#1 Eva Mendes vs. #8 Brooke Burke - Not so long ago, these seeds would be reversed. Burke is pumping out babies and yet looks like this. WOW! Mendes is riding the success of comic book-based movie Ghost Rider. A February Maxim cover doesn't hurt her cause either.


#5 Jennifer Love Hewitt vs. #4 Gabrielle Union

Union's year was spent with some cameo on ABC's Night Stalker, sounds like a good show to me. Was she really a video vixen in a Busta Rhymes video - apparently so - that too is a good thing. Ms. Hewitt somehow is winning awards for her work as a Ghost Whisperer - even if anyone watched that show I'm sure I still wouldn't know what a Ghost Whisperer does. This may be unfair but her timing on her commercial for Hanes bras. Wanna see it?


#6 Rachel McAdams vs. #3 Kelly Carlson
This is a very tough match-up to call, not everybody watches Nip/Tuck, but obviously they should
because it means you get to gawk at this unbelievable beauty Kelly Carlson. And if you didn't know she said her character was supposed to be a bit like Jenna Jameson - nice!. Also played WWE star John Cena's wife in a movie I'm sure you all saw, The Marine. However, McAdams was nearly a Bond girl in Casino Royale but obligations in a Pierce Brosnan flick - how ironic. Still has some holdover points from her work in 05's Wedding Crashers.


#7 Keeley Hazell vs. #2 Jessica Biel
If you don't know who Keeley is then that's on you. I'd post more pics but there's this new invention called the Internet - which you are currently using. It includes several websites that serve as search engines. Use one and search images for Keeley. If you do, odds are she's ll pull off the upset. Biel had a pretty good year, starring in a couple of flicks, a little more work on the hilariously ironic 7th Heaven playing a preacher's wayward daughter. Blah-blah-blah - rumored to be dating Derek Jeter. No wonder A-Rod is jealous.
