Toughest cuts: Wali Lundy - hard not to keep a young, developing back, but remember he'll be right back behind Chris Taylor when he returns healthy next season.
Keenan McCardell - He spent his entire offseason looking for the right situation and thought he had it here, but at 37, the Texans don't need him as their 4th or 5th receiver now that Jacoby Jones has emerged and Jerome Mathis has stayed healthy.
Dexter McCleon - even though he probably knew it was coming, the team asked him to move back to safety and he really never got a chance this preseason and yet they didn't cut him sooner to allow him to catch on elsewhere.
We'll see if I'm right later today.

Early impressions after 1 night of college football...
Nice job Lousiville, Rutgers and Boise State. We're all real impressed with your blow-out wins over Tom, Dick & Harry. At least LSU's 45-0 beatdown was a conference game.
