The aftermath of the Texans 30-24 loss to the Colts has been fantastic. From the players, to the coaches to the fans. Everyone expected to win. Everyone is ticked that they didn't win. It is not a moral victory. But there is absolutely, positively no doubt this team has turned the corner and is ready to compete. And I don't mean ready to compete for respectability, I mean compete for the playoffs. So you lost to the best team in the NFL (or one of the best teams)...by 6...with the ball at the end of the game.
The players were angry after the game, proud of their fight - but pissed at their mistakes. The inability to strike fast hurt, both at the end of the first half and on the final touchdown drive that nearly ate up the final ten minutes of the game.
Kubiak said Monday that Killings (neck) and McKinney (knee) are both headed to I.R. Replacements are TBA based on the health of Ron Dayne and their receivers.
Now a 2-2 start is completely unacceptable, heck they should win 3 of their next 4 to roll out to a 5-2 start.
