Texans- Chargers Live from Houston

(4:25pm) Chris White has come off the bench for the second week in a row, this time to replace Mike Flanagan. But can someone please tell me why Ron Dayne is still playing? His blocking? Sure thing, the Chargers sent a corner blitz and Dayne had to resort to holding to keep Rosenfels upright. Oh yeah - did I mention that Schaub got his clock cleaned on his last INT and is totally woozy on the sidelines watching the rest of this wretched first half.
------------------------------------

(4:15pm) With 3 more turnovers, including 2 that went for TDs, they are well ahead of everyone else in the AFC to rank dead last in that category. The Texans are 3-for-3. Across the board they are getting embarrassed. THe offense is getting torched, the defense can't stop anyone and the special teams gave up a score when it was still a game.
------------------------------------

(4:00pm) Like I said 7 minutes ago, it is very hard to keep all with all the miscues. Schaub overthrows Walter and Antonio Cromartie turns it into his second TD of the day. The ball was tipped by a lineman, but the ball was headed off the mark anyway. This is the type of game that should have fans ticked off. It also shows how much better the Chargers are than the Titans. It took the Chargers just over a quarter and change to build a 25 point lead, it took Tennessee well into the 3rd quarter a week ago.
------------------------------------

(3:53pm) Hard to keep up. Somehow the most dangerous tight end in the NFL is being left wide open. It's hard to even tell who is supposed to be checking him.
------------------------------------

(3:47pm) As I wrote in my last post, there is no way Ron Dayne can be playing for this team anymore. His touches today look like this, 0,3,2,2,0,-2, & 5. That's 7 touches and 10 yards. What are the coaches watching each week that allow them to keep him on the roster? I have only a little faith the coaches see this finally and will allow Adimchinobe Echemandu get all the carries the rest of the day. His 20-yarder on the 2nd touch of his Texans career was the most exciting and impressive run the Texans have had all season.
------------------------------------
(3:35pm) If you thought the first Chargers TD was easy, then you must have been amazed by the second one. A snap that sailed well over Matt Turk's head. But Turk showed why he can't do anything but punt, his effort to try to recover the ball was laughable. He should know to simply kick the ball out of the endzone. Turnovers are just killing the Texans. 19 Turnovers already this season.
------------------------------------
(3:30pm) Late start on the blog today, since I was just so engulfed in the Texans opening drive. Just kidding. What in the hell was Petey Faggins doing on the TD toss to Gates? He didn't know what coverage they were in or he absolutely, positively cannot ever see the football field again. They just gave them 7 points.
------------------------------------
Of course I'm here in Houston, but I'll give you my thoughts on what the Texans are doing throughout the ballgame from San Diego today.
