(2:28pm) Who wants to call in this week and ask about a QB controversy in Houston? Sage has been very bad since the first drive. Inaccurate. Poor decisions. Poor throws. He nows has 13 TDs and 11 INTs. His arm strength is below average and it seems like he has a tough time taking what it there. He always seem to go for too much. The Texans had great success in the short passing game with the quick throws. But he takes a lot of chances and with his below average arm, that is a killer to the team.

(2:20pm) Did you miss me? The only time the Colts haven't scored today came when Wayne fumbled the ball on a questionable call and at the end of the half. The other 6 times they have had the ball they have scored and the last 5 scores have been TDs. Yes, the offense was bad, but the defense has been atrocious. Anyone think they're close to the Colts?
----------------------------
(1:13pm) The Colts have scored on every possession so far today, that might mean the Colts will not play their starters much more. It's obvious they are back in a groove. All the Colts wanted to do today was click offensively before they hit the playoffs. Mission accomplished. Manning to Clark over the middle and he easily finds his way into the endzone. COLTS 24-7, 2Q
----------------------------
(1:09pm) The streak lives. 15 games in a row this season with at least 1 turnover. On the very first play after the Dallas Clark TD catch, Sage misses Andre Johnson badly, and it ends up right in the arms of Bob Sanders. Another mistake - another Colts score? I'll guess yes.
----------------------------
(1:05pm) Three Colts possessions, three scores. The Texans D just allowed the Colts to go 92 yards for the second time today and this time they didn't even force a 3rd down. They've given up 223 yards already with still nearly 6 minutes left in the half. The Colts just committed their 1st penalty of the game with an illegal formation on the kickoff. Mistakes. Good teams rarely make them. COLTS 17-7, 2Q
----------------------------
(12;59pm) We all know you can't make mistakes against the Colts. Well all of us except the Travis Johnson. Following Mario Williams 10th sack in the last six games (and his league leading 14th of the season), Johnson comes down on Manning, who was already laying on the turf. While I do believe it was a fairly light hit, it's a hit that has to be avoided. He was already down.
----------------------------
(12:55pm) Is Owen Daniels having a good season or not? He has another huge miscue with the football. This time dropping a 3rd down pass that would have resulted in a first down, most importantly, but likely a big play as well. His catch earlier on the drive was properly reviewed by the officials.
----------------------------
(12:38pm) Houston having a boat load of trouble slowing down the Colts, finally giving up the big play on a 42 yard bomb to Reggie Wayne. The Colts also converted all 3 of their third downs on that 92-yard drive. Addai pops it into the endzone by running through a couple of arm tackles and the Colts take the lead. Like I said in the pregame, you're gonna need to score touchdowns to beat the Colts - at least keep pace until Peyton sits down. Indy has scored on both possessions and have had drives of 11 and 12 plays. COLTS 10-7, 2nd Q
----------------------------
(12:08pm) Thanks to a false start penalty, I can't say the Texans could not have looked any better on their opening, but WOW were they sharp. They go 76 yards on 7 plays and don't even face a third down. 4 consecutive games have now started with a TD for Houston and Sage now has 13 TD passes, just 3 shy of the team mark set by Carr in '04. Darius Walker got the start, carried twice, once for 14 yards, the other for 16 yards making a great move to the outside on the first and a great cutback on the other. Walter gets his 4th TD reception on the season. HOUSTON 7-0 1st Q

Good Morning - just wrapped up the pregame show on SportsRadio610 in which I got into the Holiday spirit and downed several glasses of egg nog before predicting a Texans win, 28-21. Who knows how long Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne or Dallas Clark among others will play this afternoon - kinda makes it difficult to predict. We'll see as I blog throughout the game.
