Rockets-Nets Live Blog, Hou 91-73 F

So I took the second half off, a 10th straight blowout win will do that. Can you blame me? Rockets win. great stuff from postgame, you'll find it in today's post.
---------------HOU 46-28, Half---------------------
You'll see the assist in the boxscore, but you will not see that Alston passed up a wide-open three-pointer - so he could dish to Battier for his near-automatic three-point attempt in the corner. Of course it went in and the Rockets take a 46-28 lead into the half. I feel bad for Frank, because these Nets just do not care at all. They do not play defense, they have zero team concept. Every single play is run for Jefferson or Carter in an isolation. The result is 21% (9-43) first half shooting for Jersey. (HOU 46-28, Half)
-------------------------------
Luther Head, Rafer Alston, Mike Harris, Chuck Hayes, Shane Battier. That's the group that is currently embarrassing Vince, Richard Jefferson, Devin Harris, Josh Boone & Boki. (4 Nets starters btw.) The lead is up to 15 after another Hayes offensive rebound and Shane finds Luther for the three ball. (HOU 37-22, 3:36 2Q)
-------------------------------
Mike Harris NBA debut, first possession he grabs the defensive board. That leads to Novak's 2nd three of the night and BOOM - the Rockets are up 10 (after Bobby Jackson's short jumper.) (HOU 27-17, 7:26 2Q)
---------------HOU 22-15, End 1st---------------------
Like I said during tonight's show - it's a much bigger surprise when Steve Novak misses. He got a rare couple of minutes in the first quarter. Just after he checked in, following a hard fought offensive rebound from the Chuckwagon, he knocked down another long range bomb. He's now 17-36 on the season (.472). Not too shabby. (Hou 22-15, End 1st)
-------------------------------
Nets coach Lawrence Frank has more class than Pat Riley, at least he shows up for the games before trying to get away. Less than 5 minutes into the game he already has one technical and he looks like he wants another. Maybe the Rockets 11-0 run to take an 11-2 lead had something to do with it. Maybe it was the Nets 1-8 shooting to open the game. It could be lots of things. (HOU 11-4, 7:05 1Q)
-------------------------------
Hello Sportscenter, I'll see you tonight during the top ten plays,
Signed Dikembe Mutombo.
He gets ferocious on the rim for a little slama jama. (HOU 8-2, 8:41 1Q)
-------------------------------
Every time I see Luis Scola create his own shot and get right to the hole for a deuce - I can't help but think how awesome Gm Daryl Morey is. (HOU 4-2, 10:28 1Q)
-------------------------------
Looking for #19 in a row. Let's go.

For me the main reason, has to be Luis Scola.

19-0 great in regular season, now let's see it translate into the postseason - I sure am starting to think that it will.

We'll get some hey nineteen in the show tonight.
