Berkman player of month - now go to your room and watch TV

Here's the release on the obvious - Lance Berkman is the NL player of the month.
Lance Berkman of the Houston Astros has been named the Sharp Presents the National League Player of the Month for May. The switch-hitting slugger hit .471 (49-104), with 11 doubles, a triple, nine home runs, 22 RBI and 31 runs scored in May. His .471 batting average, .553 on-base percentage, 49 hits and 85 total bases led the Majors and his 21 extra-base hits tied for the M.L. lead. The four-time All-Star posted 16 multi-hit games and five multi-RBI performances. On May 6th vs. Washington, Lance collected a career-high five hits and four runs scored, along with two doubles and an RBI. Lance was named Player of the Week for May 5-11, during which he hit .682 (15-22). Berkman compiled a 17-game hitting streak that extended from 4/30-5/18, during which he hit .545 (36-66). This marks the second time that Lance has earned N.L. monthly honors (won previously in May 2004).

For setting the highest definition of excellence, Sharp, the presenting sponsor of the National League Player of the Month Award, presents Lance Berkman with a 52” AQUOS®. Sharp AQUOS is the “Official High-Definition Television of Major League Baseball.” Lance will also receive a specially designed trophy to mark his achievement.
Did you catch that last part at the end there? The part about the guy who is a multi-millionaire winning a free 52' HDTV? Hopefully the Berkmans can find some use for the this, I'm sure it's better than Sharp donating to a charity on Berkman's behalf.
