Here are some of Coach Kubiak's thoughts as he meets with the media on Monday (after he's poured over the game film of the Texans 31-12 loss to Tennessee)...
- Steve Slaton is the starter - Kubiak readily admitted that is the situation moving forward.
- Continued to back Matt Schaub as the starter, indicated nothing will change on that front. Said there is lots of blame to go around. Once again he pointed out the drops the team had in the endzone early in the game. (both from Andre Johnson, one of which should definitely have been caught, the other would have been a sensational catch, but that is what elite players are supposed to provide.)
- I asked him why the defense was so capable in the 2nd half, yet in the first half aside from the two turnovers, they allowed the Titans to move up and down the field against them. He, too was a bit mystified at how that happened.

- During the Gary Kubiak show on SportsRadio 610, he indicated that Dunta Robinson is on schedule to return to the field after his mandatory six-week stint on the P-U-P list.
