(Colts 33-27 FINAL
)
The Texans stay perfect in Indy, 7 games and 7 losses. This was a lot like the Jacksonville loss in game 3. That one went to overtime tied at 27 and neither team had a turnover. Yes today's game included one Texans turnover, which came on the final drive, but that was a very clean game. Just 3 penalties and the lone pick. But they gave up 302 yards in the 2nd half alone and the Colts scored on 7 of their 8 possessions in the game. That is disgraceful.
The Colts had 5 straight drives of at least 69 yards and 7 plays as they scored 27 points and turned a 13-6 deficit into a 33-27 lead. Smith's defense forced zero turnovers for the 4th time in ten games and haven't forced a turnover in their last 11 quarters.

Colts 30-27, 8:54 4th Q)
Like I said before - you can't blame this one on the offense. They have been near perfect. Rosenfels actually has a higher passer rating than Peyton Manning and he led the team on their 3rd TD drive to close the gap to 3. Green bulls his way into the endzone on a great effort by Green who was stopped at the two, but would not go down until he stretched the pigskin into the endzone. The Texans have 177 yards rushing today, which is already good for the 5th best day in team history. Slaton has 156 yards on 14 carries - that is just 2 yards shy of Domanick Williams team record. His 71-yard TD run is also the longest run in team history.
---------------------------------
(Colts 30-20, 14:56 4th Q
)
The Texans led 13-6 after Green scored with 2:51 to go before the half. Since then the Colts have scored on all 4 possessions, including 3 straight touchdown drives of at least 73 yards. (the field goal came since they ran out of time at the half.) This is a final statement on Richard Smith. The offense has not turned the ball over and the Colts have started 6 straight drives from inside their 30 yard line - yet they have carved up the Texans defense for 406 yards and 30 points.
Colts entered today's game as the worst rushing team in the NFL. Ranked dead last with just 69.2 yards per game and 3.3 yards per carry. Today they have 139 yards on 27 carries (5.1 ypc).
---------------------------------
(Colts 23-20, 4:44 3rd Q)
Typical Texans. On 3rd and 6, they miscommunicate and call their 2nd timeout of the 2nd half. They probably won't need it. Following their first wasted timeout, the Texans allowed Addai caught a 21-yard touchdown pass. Following this timeout, the Texans went empty backfield and Robert Mathis kit Rosenfels as he threw - thus they were forced to punt.
---------------------------------
(Colts 23-20, 6:14 3rd Q)
Do the Texans defensive coaches eat lunch at halftime or talk to their team. The Colts have gone through Richard Smith's crew with absolutely no resistance at all on their two drives for two touchdowns. The Colts had 172 yards on 4 first half possessions. After talking things over at the hlaf, the Colts gained 161 yards on two drives in 6 minutes. The last 3 Colts drives have gone 13 plays-91 yards (FG), 10 plays-81 yards (TD) & 7 plays-80 yards (TD). No turnovers today, so Smith and his crew have no excuses.
---------------------------------
(Texans 13-6, 2:51 2nd Q
)
The Texans are back on top again, after going 9 plays and 41 yards for 6. They were set up by Jacoby Jones 39-yard punt return after a penalty and re-kick. Texans would've started on the 17 yard line had their been no illegal substitution penalty on the Colts.
Houston reached the red zone on a 3rd down conversion, with a 14 yard catch by Owen Daniels. Then they ran the ball 4 straight times from the 13-yard line, with Ahman Green getting the last yard for the touchdown.
--------------------------------

(Texans 6, Colts 6, 11:34 2nd Q)

The Texans have to consider themselves lucky the Colts only have 6 points. Joseph Addai just dropped his 2nd pass of the game, this one on 3rd down and 5 and he was wide open. The Colts have dropped 5 passes already, but have still converted 4 of 6 third downs. Xavier Adibi as I predicted is having a good game and should never leave the starting lineup, he leads the Texans will 5 tackles.
-------------------------------
(Texans 6-3, 2:58 1st Q)
Texans score on their first 2 drives, but field goals from inside the red zone both times. This one was set up by a 61 yard pass to KEvin Walter. A tremendous play call and play design, with Rosenfels running play action and rolling left. Andre Johnson was running deep middle which drew the safety Melvin Bullitt - that left Walter wide open down the sideline. The drive stalled when the Texans brought 4 wides and Owen Daniels into the formation on 3 and 9 with an empty backfield. Dwight Freeney put a spin on Duane Brown and basically got to Rosenfels untouched and recorded the Colts 1st sack of the game.
-------------------------------
(Colts 3, Texans 3, 5:39 1st Q)
Both teams drive for field goals to open the game. The Texans drive stalls when they attempt a pass on 3rd and 2 from the Colts 10. Sage Rosenfels rolles out and is forced to throw the ball away. The Colts stalled when Dallas Clark dropped a pass and Reggie Wayne had a ball bounce off his hands. So far so good - no turnovers!!!
