This is shocking!!!

The Astros made a shocking announcement after Brian Moehler's shocking complete game effort, snapped the Astros' season-worst 7 game losing streak. Brace yourself.

Kaz Matsui was placed on the 15-day disabled list. He has a bad hammy.

Have you recovered yet? Are you back in your chair? I know, I know, this is going take awhile to wrap your hands around. For the 4th time since joining the team last year he's on the DL. I have been merciless in my criticism of this guy since he arrived and I have been blasting GM Ed Wade for signing him to a 3-yr, $16.5 million deal.

Nothing Matsui has done in an Astros uniform is at all different from what he was doing in Colorado and New York before the Astros were dumb enough to crack open the safe for this guy. He's an injury-prone, light-hitting second baseman. That's all he's ever been, that's all he'll ever be. Too bad the 'Stros have him for another year.
