I love the Smell of Napalm in the Morning.....

Well it's pretty clear that my body has yet to adjust to the time change in Vegas. I got up around 8:00am local time and actually worked out which I never do when I'm on vacation. The facilities at the Golden Nugget Spa are UNBELIEVABLE! I now look like this after only one workout. Forty five minutes on the treadmill and forty five minutes on the bike was waaaay too much. I had to sit through Cold Pizza twice.

Believe it or not my colleague "J-Fizz" also worked out this morning. He hired a workout partner. You might be familiar with him.

I'll let you in on a little secret. I'm not exactly great at picking games when I actually have $$$ on the line. Case and point last night- I had a two team parlay with Washington and the Duke Blue Devils. The Huskies had a 22 point half time lead but barely held on for the cover (-4) and bear Arizona State by 5. Duke had a 13 point halftime lead but totally choked at Virginia. I am an idiot. If you listen to the show, you know how overrated I think Duke and Gonzaga are this season. I think both could get knocked out in the 1st round of the NCAA tourney. Still I bet on the Devils and they screwed me over. Greg Paulus is the worst PG in college basketball! Kryzewski better have someone better coming in next year or they are going to continue to suck in close games. Thankfully I've gotten pretty good on the Texas Hold'em tables and made my $$$ back. Today is a pretty light day in terms of available wagers. I'm considering an LA teaser with the Clippers and Lakers, or I may just play the Clippers straight up since the Celtics suck.

Here are some interesting prop bets that I have seen here in Vegas for the Super Bowl.
1. Will Rex Grossman throw for 300 or more yards in the game?
Yes +700, No -1100 (These numbers are all based on a $100 wager, $100 to win 700 or wagering $1100 to win $100)

2. RB Tandem with more total rushing yards in the Super Bowl
Addai/Rhodes +20.5 yards -105 (Benson and Jones favored by 20.5 yards)
Benson/Jones -20.5 yards -125

3. Player to score 1st TD of the Super Bowl
Marvin Harrison 7-1
Reggie Wayne 15-2
Joseph Addai 10-1
Dallas Clark 12-1
Dominic Rhodes 15-1
Peyton Manning 16-1
Thomas Jones 8-1
Bernard Berrian 10-1
Cedric Benson 12-1
Mushin Muhammad 15-1
Desmond Clark 16-1
Rex Grossman 22-1
Devin Hester 25-1

Oh yeah before I forget...this guy is here.
Back with more Later....

J FIZZ, working out???? Come on, unless the dishes for the buffet line have to be picked up in the exercise room, he'd never even know there was gym on the property. I know what happens in Vegas is suppose to stay in Vegas, but let's keep it some what real. have fun
