The Battle Begins Tonight

For those who are new, The NightShift Field of 69...minus 1 has simple premise. You need heat and you need buzz. If it was all heat the same chick would win every year, so we add the element of relevance. The Battle begins tonight for the ladies who want to upend 2-time defending champ Salma Hayek, who is pregnant right now and while that's nice for her and her boy toy, it's not going to help her win this tourney.

Now here's how we com eup with 69...minus 1. We have four play-in game with what we believe are clever match-ups. Maybe you disagree - Call us out!!! Let us know!!!
But here are the play-in games and the winner gets the tough task of trying to take out one of the four #1 seeds - Beyonce, Eva Longoria, Eva Mendes and Scarlett Johanson.
Play-in Game 1
Lindsay Lohan vs. Rihanna - couple of underage hotties, one of 'em (lohan) is just so darn trashy (and freckly). The other (rihanna) seems to have a very bright future, however long that will last. This is very important since the winner gets Beyonce - Who wants some!?!?
Play-in Game 2
Aishwarya Rai vs. Paz Vega - I imagine some of you may be asking who?? That's what the pictures are for. Yes this is the international play-in game. Vega's profile has been rising with her crossover into some American flicks, while Ms. Rai is a former Miss World, who was voted most beautiful Miss World of all-time. Winner gets a piece of Tony Parker's gal pal, Eva Longoria.
Play-in Game 3
Teri Hatcher vs. Erica Durance - We put it to you, who's hotter, Lois Lane or Lois Lane. Hatcher of the Lois & Clark era, but she is fading fast. Durance gets it done on Smallville. Who Ya Got? Winner takes the gloves off with Eva Mendes.
Play-in Game 4
Tila Tequila vs. Candice Michelle - This is a matchup of two broads who really shouldn't be famous. Michelle reached notoriety via WWE and of course thru some Super Bowl ad work with GoDaddy. Here's what you need to know about Tila. She was discovered at Sharpstown Mall by a Playboy scout, yes that Sharpstown Mall. She has a myspace page that is reaching legendary status and she's got an album that'll drop in '07 - I'm sure it'll be fantastic.

Those are the four play-in games. All of the first round games will be decided tonight. Through the tourney, you'll be able to vote for your favorites right here on the blog and we'll have plenty of pics to pique your interest I'm sure.
