Texans pull upset? Good luck to the BCS

Maybe Gary Kubiak and Rick Smith have finally come around on Ron Dayne and realize this guy just is not the answer for the Texans. Several teams have given up on him before and it took the Texans awhile, but having him as a healthy inactive - because the like Samkon Gado more - is a pretty good indicator that they might actually be considering a real change in the backfield.

Andre Woodson has been near the top of Heisman trophy contenders for the entire season and he'd better be on your list as well. He played within himself and helped get Kentucky a very hard-fought triple OT victory over previously unbeaten and #1 ranked LSU. My thoughts would not have changed even if Kentucky had not pulled the upset. He'll have another chance to cement his case this weekend with Florida coming to town.
Current Heisman rankings...
Andre Woodson, Tim Tebow, Mike Hart, Dennis Dixon, Graham Harrell, DeSean Jackson, Chase Daniel, Darren McFadden, Matt Ryan - the winner will come from this group and Jackson and McFadden could be eliminated soon if they don't pick it up.

The Kentucky win, plus the California loss to Oregon State when they eschewed a tying FG to run one more unnecessary play and the clock ran out, means Ohio State will be #1 followed by South Florida and Boston College.
BCS STANDINGS - WEEK 1
Later tonight, we'll see how the BCS stacks up to the NightShift Power 16.
