Maybe this will help.
The show starts at 6 and we'll be there all night.

NEW - Time to support your Houston Rockets Power Dancers. The annual NBA Dance Team Tourney is underway. Use this as a reminder that the 4th Annual SportsRadio 610 NightShift Field of 69...minus 1 is right around the corner - we are still accepting suggestions for ladies and seeding. For the nba.com bracket, the power dancers were runners-up last year, thus earned a bye in the first round so voting on them is not yet underway.
Talk about a dog matchup to kick the tournament off with - Mavs vs. Jazz.
Just wait though - the Spurs will not advance. They drew the Kings in the opening round. The Kings dancers do not mess around. (slightly NSFW) although if it's truly NSFW you probably need to find a new job!

The Nets are a poor excuse for an NBA team. Devin Harris, Richard Jefferson and Vince Carter are real NBA talents, not just roster filler. There is no excuse for the way they play basketball. Last night in the game blog I said I felt sorry for their coach Lawrence Frank - but I take that back. He should know he's going to get whacked at the end of the season, yet he lets the most selfish players in the league run the team - into the ground. It's all iso's on offense and they have no concept of defense whatsoever.
Thus, as they have done for nearly two months, the Rockets made quick work of them. That's 19 in a row. All-Time List.
Great introduction to the NBA for Mike Harris - at least confidence-wise. He'll probably face a team that is trying pretty soon. Coach Adelman told us after the game that he already knew what the Rockets like to do on both ends and was a very difficult cut in preseason. He fits in exceptionally well as somewhat of a half-Hayes, half-Landry type. He is big and quick, a strong rebounder and has above average offensive moves and skill. He's just 6'6".
The longer Landry is out, the more the Rockets will be looking to Harris and he appears ready to help.
Their defense and rebounding is still astounding, as they nearly held the Nets to under 30% shooting. Ho-Hum Steve Novak tossed in a career-high 11 points hitting 4-of-6 jumpers (I can't believe he missed two shots!). Among players who've made at least 10 treys this year, only the reigning back-2-back 3-pt shootout champ Jason Kapono is making a higher percentage (.510) than Novak (.487).
Oh yeah, and the Rockets didn't even play that well. Adelman was great after the game, he finally acknowledged that he thinks the national media is missing the point on the Rockets' streak. He said what I have said and posted previously right here in the blog - If it was so easy other teams would be doing it. We'll share his comments on the show tonight.

In case you missed it, FSN rounded up the guys to pay tribute to the ageless Dikembe Mutombo. By imitating him. Hilarious. Novak by far the best.
