Stros Superlatives

- We know the Astros are the top defensive team in the Majors. But did you know their league-low 61 errors is 14 fewer than the next best team? That is a significant and impressive margin.
- Roy Oswalt's shutout Thursday night was the team's 12th bagel of the season. That is the league's best mark.
- Every team in the NL except one, has at least 31 wild pitches, 27 is the lowest total in the AL. The Astros staff has just 19.
- Astros are 14-2 over their last 16 games with a 1.86 ERA and 4 shutouts.
- One NL pitcher has more than 7 wins since the All-Star break. It's not CC Sabathia. Or Tim Lincecum. Or Brandon Webb. It's Roy Oswalt (8-1, 1.94 ERA)
