Texans-Bengals Live Game blog: HOU 35-6, 4th Q

- The Texans largest margin of victory in team history before today was 21. In 2004 they shut out Jacksonville and beat them 21-0. That's the other other game they have even won by more than 20 points.

- Travis Johnson picked up his first sack of the year (he's now tied for 2nd on the team with 3 others!). Then Eugene Wilson ended the drive with his 2nd interception of the season - that leads the team, also puts the Texans +2 on the day for turnovers.

- Schaub was 8-9 for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns in the 3rd quarter. That is good for a perfect QB rating of 158.3, and puts him at 147.3 for the afternoon. That would be a career best. It's his 3rd career 3 TD game, 2nd this year.

- Mario Williams gets his 3rd forced fumble of the season on his 7th sack of the year. He beats Levi Jones and swats the ball away from Fitzpatrick and Amobi Okoye scooped it up. The It's the only turnover of the game so far, so the Texans lead the turnover battle now. They have yet to finish on the plus side in a game this year. They are last in the league in he giveaway/takeaway category. It keeps the Bengals off the board and the Texans have not kept an opponent under 10 points since the opener last season.

- Schaub and Kevin Walter both set career highs on their 2nd touchdown connection of the game that makes it 28-6. It's the 5th TD of the year for Walter and the 10th TD for Schaub. It's also his 9th TD toss in his last 4 games against just 2 interceptions. Credit to Walter for jumping up after the catch and running it in the final 19 yards. Bengals DB Johnathan Joseph thought they were playing two hand touch and he let Walter get up without being touched down.

- The Texans have now scored at least 3 touchdown in consecutive games. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that has never happened before.

- Jacoby Jones did it again, returning the first punt he saw for a 73 yard touchdown. He's now the only player in the AFC with 2 punt return touchdowns. Some guy named Bush over in the NFC also has a pair. He also now ranks 1st in the NFL in punt return average at 13.8 yards per return. That'll change throughout the day.

- David Anderson is taking advantage of Andre Davis' absence with a pair of nice catches, his first came on a nice deep route down the middle as he picked up 22 on a 3rd and 5. Then out of a bunch formation on 3rd and goal from the 6, he snuck into the back of the endzone unnoticed as both DB's went to Kevin Walter and it was an easy first TD of the year for DA.

- The defense is continuing to have problems rushing the passer. Ryan Fitzpatrick has had loads on time on most of dropbacks and even when forced to scramble he's picked up 27 yards on 4 carries. The Bengals had 181 yards in the first half, they entered today averaging 225.6 yards per game - That is last in the league!!!!

- Schaub is 40-48 (83.3%) over his last 6 quarters with 3 touchdowns and no interceptions, good for a passer rating better than 120.
