Seen this before with Texans

Texans down 14 at the half to Baltimore. Have you heard that one before? Texans have been down at least 14 points in each of their last 4 losses. They came back to tie or take the lead in each of the previous three games - but obviously lost each time.

The offense was beyond terrible on their first 6 drives, netting zero points and just 5 first downs. That left them down 21-0 before the offense went 80 yards on 7 plays in just 55 seconds. The question has been asked over and over and over again to Coach Kubiak to Matt Schaub, to other members of the offense. Why the slow starts?? Obviously they have no answers since nothing has changed.

Schaub was not sharp again in the first half, completing just 7 of his 21 passes. He missed guys all over the field and took a pair of sacks. To be fair, Owen Daniels had two drops, one of which was intercepted. Jacoby Jones also had his mandatory drop.

Defense was their usual self. Some good plays, especially from Glover Quin and Bernard Pollard, who had 2 sacks. But was too many wide open receivers. Derrick Mason torched the secondary for two scores and would've had one on the opening drive, but dropped a 50 yard bomb after running past Kareem Jackson.

They are a really bad defense with an offense that rarely plays well until down by several scores. But we knew that weeks ago.

Oh by the way, the Ravens returned the opening kick of the 2nd half for a 103 yard touchdown.
