- Among the first orders of business is the Hall of Fame finalists were named. They were 15 finalists for the Hoops Hall of Fame announced today. Inductees named during the NCAA Final Four on Monday, April 2.
There are 4 nominating commitees - the North American, Womens, International & Veterans (dealing with individuals we have been out of the NBA for 35 years). [Players are eligible after 5 years of retirement, coaches the same or if they have coached 25 yrs+]

8. Phil Jackson - coach, North American; 9 titles, fastest to 800 wins, 72-10
9. Chris Mullin - player, North American; 1992 Dream Team, 5-time A/S
10. Mendy Rudolph - referee, North American
11. Eddie Sutton - coach, North American; 4-time Nat'l Coach of Yr, 3 Final Fours
12. Dick Vitale - contributor, North American
13. 1966 Texas Western team - team, North American; Don Haskins
14. Roy Williams - coach, North American; 6-time Nat'l COY
15. Adrian Dantley - player, North American; 2-time scoring champ
Dantley, Chancellor, Ferrandiz and Vitale are repeat finalists from last year.
