After Ahman Green's signing, here are the free agents who the Texans are now either hosting or have shown interest in. Suffice it to say, the Texans are done with their so-called splash.
Danny Clark - LB, former 7th rd pick in 2000, floundered in New Orleans.
Patrick Ramsey - QB, This ought to show that the Texans are serious about dumping Carr, because this guy is awful.
James Reed - LB, If you thought they were reaching with Clark, what about this less productive guy.
Will James -CB, you say you've never heard of him? How about Will Peterson, CB? Yep, same guy, he pulled a Domanick Williams and changed his name.

After the money spent on Green do you think there is enough cap room for Dante Stallworth? If not will Meachem fall down to our second round pick?
i think stallworth will end up in New England. i'd go for meachem in the 2nd. i feel confident they'll draft a WR with 1 of their first four picks.
What other WR's are available in the draft? Also I dont feel like Levi Brown is really worth the 8th pick and I hope the Texans do not got locked in on choosing him...I just feel like the Texans have SO many holes(obviously). I could see them going Safety(Landry), Offensive Tackle(Brown/Thomas:if he drops), Defensive Tackle(Branch/Okoye).
My thoughts on the the 5 players you mentioned...
Thomas - they won't trade up to get him, Top 4 pick for sure.
Brown - next best tackle but not sure he's worth 8th pick, might trade down and still get him.
Landry - could definitely see them sticking at 8 and grabbing him. I like him a lot.
Branch - I get the feeling the Texans are completely uninterested in him. Don't see them taking him.
Okoye - just like Brown. Unlikely pick at #8, but a trade down to still get him I could see. 19 yrs old is very intriguing.
Other wideouts they might grab after the 1st rd...
