NIGHTSHIFT POWER 16 - Week 2, and more

WEEK 2 for the NIGHTSHIFT POWER 16. LSU stomped on Virginia Tech and sent them right out of these rankings. Typical SEC also-ran South Carolina had the week's most impressive upset, barely edging out the one administered to typical SEC power Auburn at the hands of Big East upstart South Florida. Texas saved their season with a second half surge against a game but undermanned Horned Frog squad and OU welcomed Randy Shannon to the pressures of D-1 coaching with the near historic thrashing of the 'Canes 51-13. Here's how things shake out after Week 2 according to the geniuses here on Sportsradio 610 - Adam & Danny.

David Carr has said on several occasions that he welcomes his role as a non-game contributor. I mean backup. You think he's hoping Joey Harrington, Charlie Frye or J.P. Losman has another year of losing so they can supplant him as the quarterback with the worst record as a starter. All 3 are within reach, but currently Carr's 22-53 mark (.293) is the worst mark among active QBs with at leas 20 starts.
