Chacon signs, Video Nostalgia

The Astros added RHP Shawn Chacon to the mix signing him to a 1-yr deal for $2 million plus incentives. I'll admit it is a low risk move, but quite frankly I don't know why teams do this. The Astros have already said he'll be fighting for a spot in the rotation and I am fully aware of how shaky the rotation is beyond Oswalt, but I jsut don't have any faith in this guy.

His last 6 years as a starter...not inspiring.
2007......4 starts, 5.59 ERA
2006...20 starts, 6.06 ERA, 57 BB, 55 K, .282 BAvg
2005...24 starts, 3.44 ERA, 63 BB, 79 K, .238 BAvg
2004...No starts, 7.11 ERA, 52 BB, 52 K, .282 BAvg (also 1-9, 9 blown saves)
2003...23 starts, 4.60 ERA, 58 BB, 93 K, .243 BAvg
2002...21 starts, 5.73 ERA, 60 BB, 67 K, .263 BAvg

When oh when will Isiah realize he has a team of misfits. When punches are actually thrown at each other during a game I suppose. This from last night's OT win in Washington. Classic Knicks. (The Fanhouse)

Remember when it was Lite Beer from Miller.

As I always do here on this blog, when pro sports team produces their own song, I'll bring it to you. We travel back to 1988 for the Philadelphia Eagles, "Buddy's Watching You." Pay close attention to Senor Zendejas. Now we all know someone with no rhythm and no musical talent, but few can match the level of stiffness from this kicker. Enjoy (Ballhype via Fanhouse)
