- I wrote yesterday that it was disappointing that the Texans weren't able to acquire Domonique Foxworth for just a late round pick - instead he went to the Falcons. John McClain reported on chron.com that instead the Texans are going to add defensive back Eugene Wilson instead.
I'm fine with that, Wilson, despite being cut in Tampa, is still an upgrade over anything other than Fred Bennett. They dropped T Brandon Frye on Tuesday, so there is already a spot on the 53-man for Wilson.
- Tatum Bell on his way to Houston. If he were to be signed, a player would have to be dropped and it would not be a running back. I assume it's be one of the ten defensive lineman to get the boot, if Bell's work out goes well.
I'm lukewarm on the move. He hasn't stayed healthy, he has now been bounced from Denver in favor of younger unproven players (at the time) and now the same has happened in Detroit. He was rarely used while he watched from the sidelines as the Lions running game was going nowhere - and they still didn't turn to him. He's no better than anyone they already have, but probably better than Darius Walker.

Those would be two good players that could help the Texans in the short run until Dunta Robinson can comeback and "maybe" Ahman Green can stay healthy.
Wilson was on the practice field today with the team. he might not be great but he is an upgrade. Bell can actually still play IMO. Martz just decided to stop using him last yr, prior to that in denver he was pretty good and is still capable of breaking the big runs. Minor stuff in both cases.
so do the texans care about the incident with rudi and what really happened
The Texans were shocked to learn Tatum Bell was working out in Houston - news to them - it didn't happen. With the Bag-thieving incident, Bell may have now played his final NFL game.
