UFC 98 over the weekend was outstanding. The Matts had a nice tussle, both showing dominance at different points of the match, with Hughes winning a unanimous decision. I agreed he was the winner, although it was far from one-sided.
Sean Sherk getting punked by Frank Edgar was a big surprise, but that's part of MMA's allure.
In the main event it was a meet and greet between Rashad Evans face and Lyoto Machida's fists. It wasn't a pleasant meeting. This photo says it all.
By the way, Jose Canseco made his MMA debut. Pretty disgraceful. He fought a 7'2" behemoth and did not fare well.-----------------------------------------------

I wonder if Jose Canseco thought taking steroids would make him a better fighter... evidently it didn't
Canseco will sign up for anything that puts even the smallest amount of money in his pocket. No matter how silly he looks.
