Is this really Major League Baseball?

The Yankees came to town and the Astros welcomed them by showing a complete disregard for common sense and generally playing baseball like their dads are coaching, everybody gets to play and the Bourn and Berkman families are responsible for orange slices and Fantas after the game.

Twice in 2 nights, they tried to steal a base without a pitch even being thrown. They've been thrown out trying to steal third twice, been thrown out on a pitch out, walked three straight batters to force in a run...and on and on and on. They are not a good enough team (or offense) to play so unintelligently. Aggresive baseball is fine, but that doesn't mean running all the time even when it isn't necessary. For the first time in awhile, I have to admit Cecil Cooper is having a very bad week. It goes back to the debacle against the Cardinals in the when the team melted down in the 7th inning, giving away a 3-0 lead, before losing 5-4. The team is in a tailspin to be sure.

They are making it hard for their fans to root for them. Good thing the stadium hardly has many of their fans this weekend.
