NightShift Power 16 (Wk of Oct. 20)

Rk
Team
Notes
This Week
1
Texas (7-0)
The offense has been unstoppable and they annihilated a team that had national title aspirations
vs. Okla. St
2Alabama (6-0)
Needed a hold on 4th down in final minute to preserve victory over Ole Miss
at Tennessee
3
Penn St (7-0)
Slow start, then total domination of a woeful Michigan team. Now the big one
at Ohio St
4
Oklahoma(6-1)
Kansas gave them some trouble, but QB Sam Bradford continues to dazzle
at Kansas St
5
Okla. St (7-0)
No scare from Baylor. WR Dez Bryant will burst on the national scene this weekat Texas
6
USC (5-1)
Conference game against Wazzuu was a joke, 69-0. Nice competition
at Arizona
7
Tex Tech (7-0)
3 Conference wins not all that impressive, but should be a tough team to beat
vs. Kansas
8
Florida (5-1)
Only tough game left should be in 2 weeks at Georgia
vs. Kentucky
9
LSU (5-1)
Typical SEC struggle against the 'Cocks. See if they can keep up with or slow down Georgia
vs. Georgia
10
Georgia (6-1)
Not pretty against Vandy, but they did just enough. National title eliminator now
at LSU
11
Utah (8-0)
Their narrow win over Michigan still leaves questions, but both TCU & BYU will visit Utah
Idle
12
Ohio St (7-1)
First impressive win of the season as they destroyed Mich. State. National title eliminator now
vs. Penn St
13
S Florida(6-1)
Kinda had the week off as they beat Syracuse. Shouldn't lose again
at Louisville
14
TCU (7-1)
Well hello again. TCU blasted BYU and boasts one of the nation's best defenses
vs. Wyoming
15
Missouri (5-2)
Knew their defense was a problem, but wow. Should still win Big 12 North
vs. Colorado
16
Boise St (6-0)
Probably not even that strong a team, but they should definitely go undefeated
at S. Jose St
