(2:24pm)
The offense continues to dominate the Colts. They take the ball and go 80 yards in 7 plays and score on Slaton's 1 yard run off the left side. They are 8 minutes and 18 seconds away from taking the first HUGE step to turning the season around. (HOU 27-10, 4 Q)

(2:13pm)
The defense does their job when Mario picks up his second sack of the day (4th of the year) on third down and 4 to force the third Colts punt of the day. I think it goes without saying that thus far the Texans have played their best defensive game of the season.

(1:36pm)
I mentioned on the radio this week, long before we knew that Schaub would be ill and Sage would get the start - Gray Kubiak is 4-10 when Schaub starts, 10-11 with anyone else. Of course that goes to 11-11 with a W today.
-----------------------------------------
(Halftime)
- Good signs for the Texans offense. Aside from end of the first half possessions, the Texans have scored on 8 of their last 9 possessions (5 TD, 3 FG).
- Rosenfels was 11-14 for 144 yards and a TD in the first half (QB Rating 133.3)
- The Colts managed just 21 yards on 11 carries, with a long of just 6.
- Zac Diles played a nice half even before the interception. He was very good against the run.
-----------------------------------------
(1:13pm)
Texans take their 1st lead of the game, rattling off 17 straight points. After Adam Vinatieri missed a 49-yard field goal, Rosenfels marched the team 61 yards down the field and threw his 1st TD of the season - a 5-yarder to Andre Johnson - his first of the year as well.
On the opening drive, Coach Kubiak called for runs on 1st and 2nd down and a 3rd and 9 pass the Johnson, fell a yard shy of a first down and the Texans had to punt. Since then, they've scored 17 points on 3 possessions, gaining 176 yards. (HOU 17-10, 2Q)
-----------------------------------------
(12:40pm)
After the Colts put 10 points on the board on a pair of 5 minute drives, the Texans answer on their second possession with Steve Slaton's 2nd rushing touchdown of the season. Rosenfels looked sharp as usual. He's started 5-5 for 56 yards and has found Andre Johnson on 3 of those throws. (IND 10-7 2Q)
On the Texans TD drive, it should be mentioned that Ahman Green spelled Slaton on a few plays and looked good doing so gaining 16 yards on 3 carries and running misdirection on a completion to Owen Daniels.
-----------------------------------------
Matt Schaub is suffering from the flu, Sage Rosenfels will start against the Colts.
