NightShift Power 16 (Wk of Nov. 3)

Here is the latest NightShift Power 16. Texas Tech is undefeated and just beat the #1 team in the country. No reason for me not to put them in the top spot. If they lose, I'll drop 'em then. But right now, they've earned it.

Notes
Prev Rk/Next
1
Tex Tech (9-0)
Far from perfect vs. UT, but a huge win. They can prove it's deserved with a win over Okla St.
5/Okla St.
2
Alabama (9-0)
Doubt Arkansas St prepared them for LSU, but 'Bama should be fine since LSU is offensively challenged and the Tide D is stout.
2/@ LSU
3
Penn St (9-0)
The rest of Big 10 is fairly non-descript. They should not lose again.
3/@ Iowa
4
Texas (8-1)
They're a dropped INT from a perfect season. Remember I was the only voice that kept saying Tx Tech was so dangerous .
1/Baylor
5
Oklahoma(8-1)
Might be the most explosive team in the country.Hope the Aggies enjoyed their 2-game winning streak.
4/@ Tamu
6
Florida (7-1)
So they crush Georgia and LSU, but Tebow can't get a yard at home vs. Ole Miss? Too bad, they'd be a lock for title game.
6/@ Vanderbilt
7

USC (7-1)

Just killing time until everyone in front of them loses and the voters let them sneak into title game. The Pac-10 is terrible.
7/California
8
Okla St (8-1)
Could win several other conferences. Might finish 4th in Big 12...South.
10/@ Tx Tech
9
TCU (9-1)
Their spot here indicates my belief they will beat the underwhelming Utes.
11/@ Utah
10
Utah (9-0)
Utah keeps winning sqeakers over horrible competition. Not impressive.
9/TCU
11
Boise St (8-0)
Their first truly dominant game in awhile, also the 6th time they allowed a TD or less.
13/Utah State
12
Missouri (7-2)
Nearly upset by Baylor, not a very special Big 12 North champ, but likely will be.
12/K. State
13
Ball St (8-0)
Would be a surprise if they wrapped their MAC season still undefeated.
16/N. Illinois
14
Georgia (7-2)
Boy did they look awful against Florida. Shouldn't happen to a team with that much talent.
8/@ Kentucky
15
Ohio St (6-2)
A week off after the tough L vs. Penn St., likely won't lose again.
15/@ N'western
16
LSU (6-2)
Last chance to convince people that they have a good team. Must play good D, since their O is not likely o produce much on Bama
NR/Alabama
