(3:00pm)
Rosenfels leads the Texans to another touchdown, but he also threw an interception and the Texans finish off the game at -2 in the turnover game. They drop to 3-5.
Here are some quick notes.
- Texans did not win the turnover battle for the 7th time this season.
- 5th game (of 8) that the Texans have had at least 3 turnovers.
- Kubiak now 4-16 in road games
- Schaub won his 1st road start as a Texan last year, he's lost every road start since (0-9)

(2:35pm)
The defense played well for the first 35-40 minutes today, but are showing major signs of getting worn out. Peterson now shredding them and that touchdown to Shiancoe was way too easy. Diles got tossed out of the way by Shiancoe and thus he was wide open for another easy score. (MIN 28-14, 4th Q)

(2:06pm)
Boy do the Texans hate the redzone. On 3rd and 1 from the 18, the Texans have to hurry to the line (likely because the coaches didn't get the play to Rosenfels in a timely manner), then he throws a floater into double-coverage looking for Walter in the endzone. It was underthrown and behind him - and picked off in the endzone. Once again, not only do they fail to score a touchdown after reaching the red zone, they get no points. Pathetic execution. Have outgained the Vikes, yet trail because they've turned it over 3 times.

Alright, texters and callers, bring it on. Sage should be starting!!! 6 drives with Schaub in the first half resulting in 3 punts, two turnovers and the end of the half. Also no points.
Sage comes in to start the scond half, because Schaub hurt his leg (strained left knee). His first drive goes 72 yards in ten plays, including 3-3 on third down and the touchdown pass to David Anderson. (MIN 21-14, 3rd Q)

(HALFTIME)
All about turnovers. The defense has done surprisingly well against the run, allowing just 60 yards on 20 first half carries, they've sacked Frerotte twice and picked him off for a touchdown. Too bad they've been beaten deep a couple of times and the offense has been a turnover machine - again.

(1:06pm)
Very bad response by the defense following Matt Schaub's 2nd turnover. On a 3rd and 3 play, Frerotte looks to Berrian and he makes Dunta Robinson look bad. RObinson got all turned around and didn't even lay a hand on Berrian as he scores on a 15 yard pass that he takes the final 34 yards for 6. (MIN 21-7, 2nd Q)

(1:05pm)
No excuses for Schaub. He just fumbles too much. He has done a very pood job of protecting the football when he gets hit. It was a slow moving rush to him, he saw Chad Greenway coming, yet he dropped the ball when he absorbed the contact. 2nd turnover in Minnesota territory and this came immediately after the Texans defense actually made a huge stop. Earl Cochran got his first sack of the season to force a punt.

(12:55pm)
Congratulations to Matt Schaub. On the Texans 3rd drive of the game, he throws his 105th straight pass without an interception - a new team record. Then he throws a terrible floating duck right to Antoine Winfield for an interception in the red zone at the 5-yard line. Yet again, the red zone efficiency is a key area of concern for Houston.
Vonta Leach was a good 5 yards behind the Vikings defense, yet he underthrew him somehow. Throw in into the endzone!! Either Leach gets it or its incomplete. Bad play.

(12:48pm)
I believe thescouting report on the Texans defense says "look for 35 all day long." While Reeves does have the Texans on the board with his interception returned for touchdown, he has been thrown at all day long no matter who he has been lining up against. Frerotte finds Sidney Rice on a slant for the Vikes 2nd TD of the day. Yes, Reeves was attempting to defend on the play. (MIN 14-7, 2nd Q)

(12:25pm)
That was an interesting start to the game. The Vikings go deep on their 1st play and Bernard Berrian burns Jacques Reeves for a 55 yard gain. Adrian Peterson scores three plays later to make it 7-0. Took the Vikings less than two and a half minutes.
The Texans punt on their opening possession, allowing a sack in the process.
Then the Vikings fall into a 2nd and long after a penalty and Gus Frerotte threw a pass just behind Berrian. The pass did hit Berrian in the shoulder and Reeves picks off the carom and returns it 44 yards for the tying touchdown. That is Frerotte's 8th INT of the year anf 5th in his last two games. (7-7, 1st Q)
-----------------------
Let's see if the Texans can get their --
- 4th in a row (1st time ever in season
- 1st road win of the season
- 5th road win under Gary Kubiak (4-15 currently)
