Bagwell & the HOF - a match?

The Baseball Hall of Fame announcement will be made today. Jeff Bagwell is on the ballot for the first time. I've said that I'd vote for Bags, enough of the numbers say that he is, enough of what I saw say that he is. I don't know that he used steroids, not for a lack of looking or chasing the story, but for a lack of facts.

I'll get to the rest of the ballot at the bottom of the post. I'll give you the viewpoints of several voters and what they did with their ballot this year.

Tom Verducci, SI - no actual comment on if Bagwell got his vote.

Joe Posnanski, SI - calls Bagwell a definite

Dan Graziano, AOL Fanhouse - no on Bagwell
(Dan will be on with us Thursday morning at 8am to talk about Bagwell, Milo Hamilton will join us as well shortly after)

Jayson Stark, ESPN - Wanted to vote for 12 players, 10 is the limit. Bagwell got his vote.

Tony Massarotti, boston.com - great overall look at voting, a no on Bagwell

Peter Gammons, mlb.com - Bagwell deserves to be in the Hall
