Trade Winds Blow Thru the Association

--Caught the Kings-Raptors game on League Pass and it's a good thing the Kings don't play any defense b/c otherwise the addition of Ron Artest could have really made them a player out west. Kenny Thomas, Brad Miller & Artest up front to go with Mike Bibby and Bonzi Wells (when healthy) in the backcourt with Reef coming off the bench sounds pretty good.
Bibby had his 4th 40 pt effort in his last 9 games and the Kings are only 2-2 in those contests because they are not too interested in stopping the opposition. Artest had another strong game (24 pts, 9 rebs) and now 2 losses with Sacto.
--The Pacers are toast w/o Jermaine O'Neal. Peja is so soft he makes Dirk look like Charles Oakley.
--T'Wolves are much better with Ricky Davis than Wally Szczerbiak. KG will be happier and that's pretty much all that matters. Can't wait for Boston and the Szczerbiak's to play in Minnesota. Lucky me - Boston at Minnesota on Monday night to close out January.
--Expect more moves before the deadline on Feb. 23. Jalen Rose is the one player I guarantee will be moved.

dermarr johnson is a good thought, but (and here comes the poo-poo) you have to wonder what is taking him so long to be a full-time contributor (next yr will be his 6th yr in the league and he's yet to crack double-figures in pts, & played 20 minutes per gm just once in 5 yrs.) i would only assume his numbers would go up if playing along t-mac & yao, if he was quick enough to guard 2's that'd be pretty helpful. Bottom line is this team will suck until it gets at least one consistent 3-pt shooter. btw, what about voshon lenard who's buried behind johnson on the nugs bench??
